Keto Friendly Roast Turkey
16 lbs Whole Turkey
1 Large onion chopped
6 Celery Sticks chopped
5 Garlic Cloves minced
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 cup salted butter

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 F
Step 2Rinse the turkey inside and out. Pat the skin dry and place in a roasting rack inside a large roasting pan.
Step 3Stuff the cavity of the bird with the onion, garlic, and celery.
Step 4Loosen the skin of the bird by putting your hands between the skin and the breast meat working your way down the leg. Take some butter and rub it thoroughly under the skin over the breast and leg meat.
Step 5Pour the olive oil all over the turkey, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6Place the turkey breast side up into the oven, bake for 4 hours.
Step 7Halfway through, baste the turkey juice all over the skin and continue to do this step until it is done to avoid the turkey from drying.
Step 8Once the breast meat registers at 165 F you may take it out, cover it with foil for 30 min, then serve.
