Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar substitute (like Swerve or Stevia)
1 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar substitute swerve
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
2 ounces spiced rum
Directions
- For the mix
- In a large mixing bowl, using a hand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar substitute, sugar free maple syrup and vanilla. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy. About 3 minutes.
- Add heavy cream, powdered sugar substitute, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove. Mix on low speed until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
- For the drink
- Combine 2-3 tbsp of the Hot Buttered Rum – Mix and 1-2 oz spiced rum to 1/2 cup hot water. Adjust the batter / rum ratios to taste
