Ingredients
1 pound organic bulk sweet Italian sausage
2 cups crushed pork rinds
2 cups shredded organic mozzarella cheese
3 large free-range eggs, lightly beaten
1/3 cup organic heavy (whipping) cream
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
4 large fresh sage leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp grated orange zest
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the sausage, pork rinds, mozzarella cheese, eggs, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, onion, sage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix the ingredients well. Evenly pack the meatloaf mixture into a 9-by-9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the orange zest over the top of the meat.
- Bake until cooked through, about 45 minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
