Ingredients
1 lb uncured center-cut bacon
2 tbsp Golden Ghee
1 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 tbsp Sugar-Free Vanilla Bean Sweetener
1 tbsp organic heavy (whipping) cream
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Lay out the bacon strips in a single layer on the sheets. Bake the bacon to your desired crispiness, 15 to 20 minutes (no need to flip the bacon midbake). Drain the bacon on paper towels.
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the ghee and chocolate. Microwave for three or four 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate becomes soft and mixes easily with the ghee. Add the sweetener and heavy cream and mix until smooth.
- Lay out the bacon on a fresh sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet. Drizzle the chocolate over one-third of each bacon slice. Refrigerate the chocolate-coated bacon for about 5 minutes before serving.
